Minimum Qualifications:🚶‍♀️

  • 1.5+ years of experience recruiting generalist roles in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • 1+ years of experience covering people related administration, update employee files, draft contracts and payroll (very little)

Preferred Qualifications: 🏃‍♀️

  • Supporting the scaling team, through activities outside of recruitment including, assisting and suggesting employer branding initiatives, ways to improve company happiness, team improvements etc.
  • Good confidence with Google Sheets/Excel, and reporting
  • Assisting with the general happiness of the juni crew alongside the Scaling Director
  • The ability to run initiatives such as wellness challenges, company quarterly retreats, ensuring Juni crew members have their welcome packs delivered etc.
  • Confidence to recruit roles (non tech) across the business

You'll be working closely with Leroy (Scaling Director) to in effect hire the best people at the top of the market! Through talent acquisition at the highest level! Juni pays top of the line for Series A candidates so we have no doubt's on our offering, we just now need to find those amazing crew members for the Juni rocketship, and that's where you come in. But not only finding, and hiring you'll also be part of the scaling team, and scaling includes all things related to the growth of Juni, so there's plenty of pies for your fingers to be in! 

This role is 60% recruitment 40% people ops/improvement at Juni.

It's important you're someone who likes to work in different areas, sometimes recruitment slows down, and in the scale-up world, you need to be able to ask yourself "how can I do this better" and it's about constantly improving Juni.

The Crew: 👥

Our team right now is 30, and we're growing quick with ambitions to become 60 in the next few months, we're looking to hire across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Data and Finance along with a variety of other roles, you'll see a lot of new crew members joining the Juniverse! 

Responsibilities: 📋

In this role you’ll:

  • Ensure accurate reporting of hiring progress back to the business
  • Build and drive cross-functional partnerships with compensation, human resources, finance and others to scale hiring across Juni
  • Consistently generate a healthy pipeline of high quality candidates by driving initiatives across branding, events, and employee referral channels
  • Constantly look to improve Juni's processes, teams, and organisational structure where possible. 

Within 1 month you'll:

  • Understand how Juni works, get integrated with your team and hit the ground running when it comes to your role
  • Be booking in several interviews from candidates who are in the funnel you've created.
  • Looking to assist with building out the benefits packages of Juni employees and the working through the administration

Within 3 months you'll:

  • Other crew members say they’re learning a lot and are more productive because of you
  • Have hired your 5th role, things are picking up as we're looking for 25 new team members in 6 months.
  • Be building out the pipeline of improvements through discussions, and pro-actively be putting aside 1-2 days a week outside of the recruitment activities to look at improving Juni. 

Within 6 months you'll:

  • You're smashing it out the park 9 roles hired for! your velocity is increasing!
  • You're looking at other businesses and how they work in improving their remote organisational structure
  • You're running Juni's employee welfare and benefits and thriving.
